So we’re up in northern Minnesota for the next week in a really neat cabin. Some may call it a cottage but in Minnesota, we’re at the cabin. Nonetheless, this is a really neat place that overlooks a small lake. The cabin and decor is rustic and some of it is even handmade. When we walked in to the cabin the first thing I saw was a Gone With The Wind lamp very similar to the one in the picture.
What a great way to gussy up an old cottage like this. It’s even got the pink glass like this one. Yeah, you betcha!
As far as the lamp in the picture goes, it is an antique style table lamp that is patterned after the classic oil burning lamps of the Victorian era. It’s got a pink swirled glass shade, a frosted chimney and antique brass metal components. It has a top switch that controls the main bulb on top and the night light on the bottom.
It’s referred to as a Country Cottage Pink Swirl Optic Shade Night Light Hurricane Table Lamp
Here’s a couple of other particulars you might want to know:
- Height: 20 1/2 inches
- Shade Diameter: 10 inches
- Takes one 150 watt bulb (not included) for the top lamp
- One 7 watt bulb is included for the night light
It really is a great Gone With The Wind lamp that would go with any decor…… even a cabin in the great north woods.
